RECET Newsletter - 1st edition is out!

The RECET has released the first edition of the RECET newsletter, offering a comprehensive look at early progress and lessons from its work supporting sustainable energy transitions in rural Europe.

Published in January 2025, the newsletter highlights milestones and insights from RECET partners across Europe as they collaborate to strengthen local capacity for clean energy planning and action.

The issue features practical experiences from partner regions including Denmark, Sweden, Iceland, Slovenia and Spain. Stories range from community workshops on renewable energy and regional energy planning progress to local stakeholder engagement and efforts to advance green transition plans.

By bringing together these diverse experiences, the newsletter showcases the early stages of rural clean energy transitions and underscores the importance of collaboration, local ownership and practical tools in driving progress.
